Trees are the result of the determination of a frustrated Bengal
and Savannah breeder who got tired of vacuuming torn, shredded and chewed
pieces of carpeting off the floor on a daily basis. In addition, being
a breeder and the proud owner of both males and females who are equally
determined to mark their territory, this frustrated breeder also wanted
cat furniture that was completely washable..a kind of wash and wear,
if you will.
Normal
carpeted cat trees tend to absorb urine from spraying animals, and hence
retain that urine odor. Because KrissyKat Trees are made of plastic,
they are completely washable. In addition, they are CAT PROOF! These
trees have been time tested with cats and kittens who like to chew on
everything. They have withstood the test of time and are therefore offered
with a two year warranty against normal wear and tear by your pet.
In addition,
we offer replacement parts for your cat furniture such that you may
never again need to buy a new unit because one part becomes damaged.
KrissyKat
Trees are intended for use both INDOORS and OUTDOORS. Because they are
washable, KrissyKat Trees are also rainproof. However, since these trees
are made out of plastic, Crystal Springs Enterprises, the manufacturer
of KrissyKat Trees, does NOT recommend that you leave them for prolonged
periods of time in direct sunlight during the heat of the day. As with
most plastics, these cat trees may become damaged by the UV radiation
from the sun. Unfortunately, our warranty does not include damage caused
by the sun or weather. However, once again, any damaged parts may be
replaced, precluding the need to purchase an entirely new piece of furniture.
ALL KrissyKat
Trees are bolted together for ease of assembly and
disassembly. They may be disaasembled for movement or storage, OR for
replacement of parts. All replacement parts, including screws or bolts,
may be ordered from Crystal Springs Enterprises, Inc.
